2015 Awards

The care sector emerged from its winter hibernation at what is now established as the networking event of the year – the Pinders Healthcare Design Awards. 650 guests turned up at the Lancaster London Hotel to meet up with friends and potential clients, for a lunch which lasts from 11am till 11pm!

For first time attendees, the event is something of a surprise, with Pinders yet again coming up with some fresh and fun entertainment. The usual host, Jon Chapman, missed his entry cue, having been kidnapped and held hostage by Armenian comic Kev Orkian, making a welcome and hilarious return visit after last year’s performance. Jon was eventually able to make his escape to guide the audience through the eighteen excellent projects which had been selected as this year’s finalists, and to thank the various sponsors who presented the coveted trophies to the winners.

The day once again finished with some fun and games as the audience’s generosity in support of Contact the Elderly (a charity which organises tea parties for lonely older people) was rewarded with some fabulous prizes.
